Anthophilous | (adj.) attracted to or living among flowers
These children's garments were inspired by nature, including flowers and insects, found in gardens. The designs involve soft pastel colours paired with lightweight fabrics such as cotton, chiffon, and organza. Following the inspirations, ruffles, gathers, and floral themes were used throughout the designs.
The mini-collection features various garments for young children, including tops, dresses, jumpsuits, and jackets. The flower dress and flower jacket are the main highlights of the collection, with the three-dimensional floral designs. These 3D flowers were developed through fabric manipulation experiments while the 3D leaves and stems were created using stuffed applique techniques.
